.Was here with friends today. The plan was to have a drink and quench your thirst. In fact, we all ate something. From warm food to dessert, everything was there and we were all completely satisfied. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. A great evening in a great restaurant, to be precise, in a wonderful beer garden.

Very nice and welcoming restaurant. The food is delicious, especially the trout. A delight! The prices are reasonable; the cheapest I could find in the town. The staff is friendly and (at least) one of them speaks English. The view is enjoyable: the Black Forest's mountains can be seen from afar, and the historical buildings can also be seen. The tables outside under the shade of plane trees are the perfect place during a hot day, and after having discovered the historical town.

Nice garden restaurant. Great location under plane trees. Delicious meal. We had trout with butter potatoes, snail soup, marrow dumpling soup, salad, schnitzel with homemade fries. Delicious apple strudel. Service was nice. Prices ok.

Really great beer garden. Very comfortably furnished, a must in good weather. The food was really delicious and the timing starter - main course was also very good. Different dishes are served depending on the season. Price / performance fits absolutely. Despite the full beer garden, the waiting time for the meal was absolutely fine. If you plan to eat there, I recommend making a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is usually very busy. All in all great!

Went there for the first time yesterday due to the many good reviews. Unfortunately the inn couldn't really convince us. When we arrived we had the feeling that the service staff including the boss were completely overwhelmed. Were completely overlooked at the entrance, but then led to the back of the garden, which is very nicely designed. The menu is clear - the food was good. A somewhat ambitious service would certainly have contributed to the wellbeing. It was not possible for us to reorder drinks because we simply did not pay attention to them after eating and wordlessly putting away the dishes, so we gave it up after almost an hour in front of empty glasses - we also had to pay in the dining room, because nobody appeared at our request. So you don't really give new guests the feeling of being welcome, especially since we were able to observe that one or the other regular guest next to us was given much more service. For us unfortunately not worth a second try.

Nice shady beer garden with trees. You can stand it well here in summer. Operation quickly, short waiting times. Food was also good.

One of the most beautiful beer garden in Gengenbach. Food and service are great. The homemade fries are awesome. But the schnitzel was really good too. Atmosphere in the beer garden is beautiful. You sit mostly under old trees. You only know that from Bavaria.

It is a nice restaurant in Gengenbach. You can see the mountain views and the historical building of the town from its garden. It's wonderful. The food is very neat. The atmosphere is nice. The people are very friendly.
